Hello and thank you for your interest in the Royal guards. Let me be the first to welcome you to the finest regiment in not only Paris, but the entire world. In order to be considered to join with the Royal guards, you must be prepared to make the following sacrifices.

First and foremost: Monseigneur Colbert is our patron, and he should be treated with the utmost dignity, loyalty, and respect that a gentleman of his stature demands.

Secondly: You must be loyal to your commander as well as your regiment members.

Third: Duty means you must, and will, serve this regiment as the regiment sees fit. Sometimes this means putting your life on the line, no questions asked.

Fourth: Honor your regiment to the best of your ability. We do not want you to go blindly fighting into enemy territory with no hope of winning.

If you feel that this is asking too much of you, then please do not apply. We want soldiers who feel that they can advance and want to in the most elite regiment.
