Chief Magistrate

The Chief Magistrates are responsible for the eight Magistrates under them. A Magistrate can be thought of as a lesser Judge, their duty is to carry out justice on the more minor and common of offences that occur within Paris. As such, a magistrates have no direct power over prison sentences, but instead can imprison people in stockades as punishment for minor crimes.

The Chief Magistrate commands a salary of 13750 livres per month, with 1550 in costs. The post grants you 8000 social points and 750 honour per month, with a gain of 35 on your health. Two people can occupy this position. You need a social level of 75, but not greater than 100 to occupy this position. Your title must lie between Duc/Duchess and Grand ArchDuc/Grande ArchDuchess to retain this position. This position allows you to hand out nine level one, six level two, five level three, three level four, three level five and two level six favours per season. When applying for this position, you need to submit proof of worthiness in the form of written Favours whose total levels equal or exceed 225.
