Guides de Distinction are honourbound to assist each and every newcomer and negligence in performing those duties is a serious offense. Guides de Distinction have proven their worth to the City and Citizens of Paris by performing all the duties of a Guide in the care of newcomers. These individuals have demonstrated a willingness to go above the norm, performing all Guide functions honourably and maintaining a minimum of 250 guiding points in addition to being recognized by the guide leadership.

The Guide de Distinction commands a salary of 7000 livres per month, with 500 in costs. The post grants you 8500 social points and 850 honour per month, with a gain of 15 on your health. Twenty five people can occupy this position. You need a social level of 4, but not greater than 100 to occupy this position. This position allows you to hand out six level one and two level two favours per season. This position is awarded on merit, not by application.
