The position of Royal Ward is designated for citizens to whom Royalty wishes to offer special guardianship, protection, and tutelage. This special distinction is generally temporary in duration and is appointed at the discretion of Royalty. Those holding the position of Royal Ward are expected to act with utmost honour and decorum at all times, as their actions directly reflect upon the judgment of Royalty.

The Royal Ward commands a salary of 4000 livres per month, with 1000 in costs. The post grants you 2500 social points and 10 honour per month, with a gain of 5 on your health. Four people can occupy this position. You must have a social level of 3 to occupy this position. This position allows you to hand out four level one favours per season. This position is awarded on merit, not by application.
