The city of Paris is split into five employment courts - the Royal Court, the Chatelet, the Hotel de Ville, the Palais Royal and the Crown Consulate. Each of these institutions offers many positions to choose from.
Employment within Paris takes into account many aspects of your character, from your noble title down to your social status. Each position in the city is gauged by its prestige and workload. The higher your character advances, the more prestigious and important your jobs will become, thus limiting the amount of workload you may have at any given time. |
