The Principal Tax Collector is responsible for training and appointing tax collectors and checking up on tax collection, and other forms of revenue generation for The Crown to ensure that the economy remains stable.

The Principal Tax Collector commands a salary of 17250 livres per month, with 3000 in costs. The post grants you 6500 social points and 750 honour per month, with a gain of 30 on your health. One person can occupy this position. You need a social level of 75, but not greater than 100 to occupy this position. Your title must lie between Duc/Duchess and Grand ArchDuc/Grande ArchDuchess to retain this position. This position allows you to hand out six level one, three level two, three level three, three level four, three level five and two level six favours per season. When applying for this position, you need to submit proof of worthiness in the form of written Favours whose total levels equal or exceed 180.
