This position is a perilous one, always be one joke away from shame as the King has a strange sense of humor. Their responsiblity is to amuse His Majesty when he requires entertainment and at no other time for fear of irritating instead of amusing.

The King's Jester commands a salary of 4000 livres per month, with 250 in costs. The post grants you 1750 social points and 100 honour per month, with a gain of 1 on your health. Six people can occupy this position. You need a social level of 6, but not greater than 36 to occupy this position. Your title must lie between Chevalier/Madame and Marquis/Marquise to retain this position. This position allows you to hand out two level one, one level two and one level three favours per season. When applying for this position, you need to submit proof of worthiness in the form of written Favours whose total levels equal or exceed 21.
