8" of double-edged insertion lace 8" of 3" white satin ribbon 16" of narrow white lace 16" of 3/8" white grosgrain ribbon White sewing thread and needle 8" of 3/8" white satin ribbon 1/2 cup fragrant, dried rose petals 1. Lay the insertion lace along the center of the 3" ribbon. Cut the narrow lace and the grosgrain ribbon each into two (2) 8" lengths and lay these on each edge of the wide ribbon so that the ribbon is just under the edge of the eyelet and the straight edge of the lace is covered by the other edge of the grosgrain. The effect will be a series of stripes.
2. Hand stitch through all layers at both edges of the grosgrain ribbon to secure everything to the wide ribbon base.
3. Run the 3/8" satin ribbon through the insertion eyelet.
4. Fold the piece in half, wrong sides together and slipstitch the side edges to form a pocket.
5. Fill the pocket with the rose petals and slipstitch closed by turning the raw edges inside to form a neat end. Each sachet takes about 20 minutes to make
