Hot Mulled Cider

1 gallon cider without perservatives
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
14 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
2 pieces stick cinnamon

Bring all ingredients to a boil in a large pot. Boil for 5-8 minutes. Strain and serve hot or refrigerate to reheat. Serve in mugs with cinnamon sticks as stirrers. This may be kept warm in crockpot.
