This extends the mood of sensual bathing on into the night. We often forget the sheer sensuous thrill of our body, dusted with translucent powder, which this becomes even more silky to the touch then it is with body lotion. The scent of you is certain to linger in your love’s imagination.

1 tablespoon cornstarch or arrowroot powder
1 teaspoon ground orrisroot
a few fresh violets or other flower (one type of flower only)

Place all the ingredients in a small, tightly-lidded cardboard box for a few days until the smells blend together: then pack them carefully into a small powder compact with a little puff. Dust your upper torso after bathing and sprinkle the scent into lingerie and even the sheets. This powder is also easy to apply at the office between hectic moments to keep you cool and enticing, and is an absolute essential for a short break in a sunny climate. It looks divine in a beautiful glass dish with a few fresh violets added every few days.
