You may not charge any case in which you are potentially biased
IE If your spouse was the accused/victim or if a regimental enemy was the accused |

You may not charge any case in which you are personally involved
IE It is Regimental between your Regiment and another or if you are the victim/accused |

You may not pass on any information which you have knowledge of because of your Court position to anyone who is NOT a member of the Court. This includes witness names, criminal histories or sentence details |

You must not allow yourself to be pressured by anyone inside or outside of the Court. Your cases are your own and should be dealt with by YOU alone. Any assistance you require should come from a Chief Judge |

You should NOT ignore any threats or crimes brought to your attention. If you are unable to deal with a case because you are bias, for example, then speak with another Court member and have them deal with it. If none are present, message a Chief Judge and it will be reassigned to another Court Member |

Do not punish anyone for anything which is not listed in the City laws or posted as a law in the Court BB, this includes threatening anyone with punishment of something not listed. If you are unsure if something is a law, then check first. Do not just punish anyway |

Do not interfere with any other court member’s case. If you did not begin the case then you should not have any involvement in it unless asked for advice by the charging Judge or a Chief Judge |

Do not reassign your case unless:
A. You are unable to issue the punishment yourself, IE execution
B. You feel you have become bias in the course of the investigation, in which case you should reassign to a Chief Judge

Knowingly leaving the scene of crime to avoid having to charge or so a brawl can take place is grounds for immediate dismissal |

All posts in the Court BB should be strictly Court related |

Although Judges should not know the name of the accused when voting, sometimes it happens. If you DO know the name and know that you would be considered bias then do not vote, but be sure to let a Chief Judge know why. A simple, “I feel I am biased and shouldn’t vote” will suffice - we don’t need to know details as long as we’re convinced you are truly biased and not just trying to get out of a case

Do not wrongly vote a case guilty/not guilty for any reason. The choice on voting should be your own and not influenced by anyone. Voting is closely monitored and such things will be followed up |
