| Tax Evasion |
Anyone refusing to pay their taxes after they are 30 days past due may be punished for tax evasion when a tax collector reports the crime to a magistrate. Should a citizen's taxes be 180 days past due, tax collectors should report the delinquency to the Chancellor, who will coordinate with Royalty the
repossession and auction of the taxed properties |
Interfering
with a Duel |
Interfering in an arranged duel between two persons is forbidden, and is considered bad etiquette |
| Trespassing |
Entering any property which is not your own without permission is trespassing and is a crime. Trespassing in a Royal Building will be punished harshly. Trespassing in the King's Forest is also forbidden. The King's Forest is strictly private and only the Forest Warden, Forest Rangers and Hunt Masters are permitted to frequent it. Any person caught treading these paths whilst not in a hunt will be suspected of Poaching |
| Poaching |
It is a crime to kill the creatures that reside in the King's Forest unless you are participating in an official hunt |
| Theft |
Taking property that belongs to someone else, without his or her permission, is theft. Should the victim choose, the offender may be prosecuted if reasonable proof of the crime exists |
| Public Nudity |
It is considered offensive for citizens to appear nude in public. Anyone caught so doing may be forced to reside within the stockade until he or she agrees to wear clothing |
| Horse Neglect |
In certain areas of the city, usually in and around Royal landmarks, it is considered unpleasant and inconvenient for citizens to have to brush by a crowd of horses to make their way into a building. For this purpose, horse troughs are provided in some areas of the city for citizens to utilize.You may not leave
your horse inside the Louvre, outside the Louvre (unless tethered), at the Place de Greve, inside L'Ecole, inside the Bureau des Guides (unless stabled), in any area of the Great Square, inside any holy building, or in front of Saint Eustache (unless tethered) |
| Interfering with an On Duty Guide |
Harrassment of a Guide performing their duties as Guide is considered detrimental to the realm and will not be tolerated. This includes verbal harassment or challenging |
| Conduct Unbecoming of a Citizen |
Conduct Unbecoming of a Citizen is basically when a person is on Royal or Sacred ground, like the Churches or in the Louvre and are repeatedly acting vulgar and/or profane. This isn’t an actual Law but it is implied within the help files for the Gardiens des Invalids |
