Guides de Honour are honourbound to assist each and every newcomer and negligence in performing those duties is a serious offense. Guides de Honour have reached the pinnacle of guide status, showing with their dedication and duty that they are to be honoured for their service to newcomers to the City of Paris. Performing all functions required of a Guide, by meeting, greeting, and acquainting newcomers, they must excel in all areas. A minimum of 750 guide points per week is required to maintain this position in addition to the recommendation of a Lieutenant or Captain des Guides.

The Guide de Honour commands a salary of 12000 livres per month, with 500 in costs. The post grants you 11000 social points and 1000 honour per month, with a gain of 20 on your health. Twenty people can occupy this position. You must have a social level of 5 to occupy this position. This position allows you to hand out six level one, three level two and one level three favours per season. This position is awarded on merit, not by application.
