Master Swordsman of France

The honour of being designated Master Swordsman is testament to the holder's talent and dedication to the art and discipline of swordplay. It is an honourary position, but is not to be taken lightly. The Master Swordsman is expected to duel honourably, and evidence of actions that indicate otherwise could lead to dismissal and dishonour. The Master Swordsman is expected to use his or her talents to defend the Crown and act as a distinguished servant of the King. The term of service is at the pleasure of the King and the holder of the title is determined at such time and manner as the King may choose.

The Master Swordsman of France commands a salary of 5000 livres per month, with nothing to pay in costs. The post grants you 2500 social points and 500 honour per month, with a gain of 25 on your health. One person can occupy this position. There are no social level limitations on this position. This position allows you to hand out one level seven favours per season. This position is awarded on merit, not by application.
