The city of Paris is ever--evolving, with new buildings and places of interest being added constantly. This business creates a need for skilled individuals who can design such places when needed. The King's Architect is responsible for helping the King and 1st Minister add a touch of colour to Paris by assisting in the design and construction of new areas and places to visit.

The Architect commands a salary of 5000 livres per month, with 500 in costs. The post grants you 2500 social points and 100 honour per month, with a gain of 4 on your health. Three people can occupy this position. You need a social level of 6, but not greater than 37 to occupy this position. Your title must lie between Chevalier/Madame and Marquis/Marquise to retain this position. This position allows you to hand out six level one and four level two favours per season. When applying for this position, you need to submit proof of worthiness in the form of written Favours whose total levels equal or exceed 42.
