The Decapant de Ville has the task of keeping the streets of Paris litter free, and are honour bound to collect any carelessly discarded items they come across. A Decapant de Ville must not only collect the litter, but dispose of it in a proper manner as well. While the position is low in the hierarchy of the Hôtel de Ville, the salary is generous. For this reason, the position is coveted by many of the newer citizens of Paris.

The Decapant de Ville commands a salary of 6000 livres per month, with 750 in costs. The post grants you 3000 social points and 100 honour per month, with a gain of 5 on your health. Eight people can occupy this position. You need a social level of 6, but not greater than 37 to occupy this position. Your title must lie between Chevalier/Madame and Marquis/Marquise to retain this position. This position allows you to hand out six level one and five level two favours per season. When applying for this position, you need to submit proof of worthiness in the form of written Favours whose total levels equal or exceed 48.
