The Estate Agent Guidelines outlined here are brief reminders for the Estate Agents once their training has been completed
| ESTATE AGENT GUIDELINES |

Estate Agents oversee the needs of citizens in transferring the ownership of buildings and renaming them as necessary, to suit the wishes of the owner of the property |

Fees may be charged for transfer and rename services, however, it is not necessary and NO more then 50 livres on top of the Stamp Duty, currently at around 10% of the value of a property being transfered

When an Estate Agent is involved in transferring properties either between two private citizens or a citizen and the Crown, be sure the buyer and seller are a reliable source of tax revenue and don’t owe any outstanding taxes. All taxes owed MUST be paid before the game allows the transaction to happen. Citizens must also be of the correct title. If they don’t have a sufficient title, the game will now allow the transaction to be completed

Estate Agents are responsible for letting people know which houses are for sale and how much they cost if and when someone asks you about them |

If a transfer is from person to person, both buyer and seller must be in the acting Estate Agent's presence. For purchases of Crown-Owned properties, the Estate Agent acts on behalf of the Crown
