The Master of the Hunt is responsible for the hunting grounds to the south of Paris. They command the foresters who patrol the forest to ensure no illegal hunting occurs and are the holders of the key to the King's Hunting Lodge, found in the northern tip of the forest. The Master of the Hunt has the pivilege to call a public hunt, where hunters compete to catch the best game.

The Master of the Hunt commands a salary of 12500 livres per month, with 2000 in costs. The post grants you 5000 social points and 500 honour per month, with a gain of 18 on your health. Three people can occupy this position. You need a social level of 50, but not greater than 72 to occupy this position. Your title must lie between Viscomte/Viscomtess and Duc/Duchess to retain this position. This position allows you to hand out six level one, five level two, four level three and three level four favours per season. When applying for this position, you need to submit proof of worthiness in the form of written Favours whose total levels equal or exceed 120.
