| MASTER OF THE HUNT DUTIES |

A Master of the Hunt is responsible for the hunting grounds to the south of Paris known as the King’s Forest and also holds the "key" to the King's Hunting Lodge, found at the northern tip of the King's Forest

A Master of the Hunt has the privilege to call a public hunt, where the hunters compete to catch the best and most game in the forest during the allotted time. However, unless it is sponsored by a member of the Royal Family it will not count towards the Master Huntsman/Huntswoman honour. The Royal Family will choose when to host a sponsored hunt. They will NOT host one by request!

It is the duty of the Master of the Hunt running the Hunt to keep track of each Hunter’s points and it is the MOH that declares the victor. At the end of the hunt, the winner has their victory recorded in the permanent table of the top 20 hunters in the land IF it was sponsored by Royalty |

At the discretion of the MOH they may implement various other rules for any given hunt.
For Example: A Rabbit only hunt

Each Master of the Hunt is required to run (or attempt to run) at least one hunt per RL week (which is approximately once per IC month) |

The results of each hunt will be posted in the ANNOUNCEMENTS section of the public BB by the MOH so that everyone knows what a great hunt it was and also to encourage those that don’t hunt to participate in the next one |
