The Head Gunsmith is responsible for all of the Gunsmiths that work within the King's Court. It is his responsibility to appoint worthy Gunsmiths and dismiss wayward ones. The Head Gunsmith is not expected to create new items, but is at liberty to do so. The Head Gunsmith takes a seat at the Circle of Master Craftsmen, and is highly respected for his previous smithing.

The Master Gunsmith commands a salary of 12500 livres per month, with 3250 in costs. The post grants you 13000 social points and 500 honour per month, with a gain of 25 on your health. One person can occupy this position. You need a social level of 75, but not greater than 100 to occupy this position. Your title must lie between Duc/Duchess and Grand ArchDuc/Grande ArchDuchess to retain this position. This position allows you to hand out four level one, three level two, two level three, two level four, two level five and one level six favours per season. When applying for this position, you need to submit proof of worthiness in the form of written Favours whose total levels equal or exceed 120.
