Tax Collector Rules

The Hôtel de Ville works on a THREE warning system. Tax Collectors will be issued a warning by the Principal Tax Collector or the Head of the Hôtel de Ville, if they show inappropriate behavior, insubordination or what appears to be abandonment of their job. Three warnings will result in automatic dismissal and a 1RL month ban from Tax Collector (which is approximately 4IC months).

8 RULES RESULTING IN AN OFFICIAL WARNING
1 A Tax Collector should always make themselves available to take taxes. The only time you are not required to is if you are guiding. In which case you should refer the client to another tax collector
2 You must never clear anyones taxes without ALREADY taking the money, doing so is grounds for dismissal
3 You must clear ALL debts you owe to the crown within a reasonable time (within 3 aott days of gaining them). As with taxes, refusing to pay this is punishable by stockade sentence. This is monitored by the Principal Tax Collector
4 You must never take your own taxes. Another Tax Collector must do this for you
5 If anyone is unable to meet their complete payment they should be sent to the Principal Tax Collector to arrange payment. YOU may NOT arrange payment with them yourself
6 The standard warning given in your training is the ONLY warning that may be used. You may NOT make your own warnings or add anything to them
7 You must respond to ALL your assignments promptly. If you do not issue your first warning within a reasonable time you will be issued an overdue warning. This is shown as a cross (+) next to the overdue case when i post assignments. Should you get 3 crosses (+) for any overdue case it's an automatic dismissal
8 If you are going to be away for more than 3 days then you should let the Principal Tax Collector know ASAP so that she can arrange to cover your assignments
